troilus

(Science: zoology) A large, handsome American butterfly (Euphoeades, or papilio, troilus). It is black, with yellow marginal spots on the front wings, and blue spots on the rear wings.

Origin: NL, fr. L. Troilus, Gr, the son of Priam.
