Alports syndrome

(Science: syndrome) progressive microscopic haematuria leading to chronic renal failure earlier in males, accompanied by defects such as sensorineural hearing loss, lenticonus, and maculopathy; autosomal dominant, autosomal recessive, and x-linked forms known.
