undecylenic acid

CH2CH(CH2)8COOH;an acid present in small amounts in sweat; used with its zinc salt in ointments, or as a powder in the treatment of fungus diseases of the skin, psoriasis, and certain other cutaneous affections.

Synonym: undecenoic acid.
