(Science: chemical) (r*,s*)-4-((1-methylethyl)thio)-alpha-(1-(octylamino)ethyl)benzenemethanol. A peripheral vasodilator that was formerly used in the management of peripheral and cerebral vascular disorders. It is hepatotoxic and fatalities have occurred.

Pharmacological action: vasodilator agents.
