An incomplete septum that forms at the uterine cavity


A subseptate uterus is a congenital malformation at the uterus in which an incomplete wedge-like partition forms. This may result when the partition (formed from the fusion of two Mullerian ducts) is not resorbed completely during embryogenesis.
