sturge webber syndrome

(Science: Medical,Neurology) a congenital neurocutaneous disorder that is caused by abnormal embryonal mesodermal and ectodermal development. Often causes seizures and mental delays. Does not known to have a hereditary tendency.

also called: angiophacomatosis, encephalofacial angiomatosis, encephalotrigeminal angiomatosis, Sturge's disease, Sturge-Weber disease.
