A small California shark (Heptranchias maculatus), which is taken for its oil.

A Pacific ocean shark (Hexanchus corinus).

A ganoid fish of the sturgeon family (Scaphirhynchus platyrhynchus) of the Mississippi and Ohio rivers.

Synonym: white sturgeon.
