Psychic blindness --> mind blindness

visual agnosia for objects. The subject sees the object, but cannot identify it; due to a lesion in area 18 of the occipital cortex. Also refers to the inability to recognize the meaning or significance of an event or object such as in Kluver-Bucy syndrome

Synonym: object blindness, psychanopsia, psychic blindness.
