porcupine skin --> epidermolytic hyperkeratosis

hyperkeratosis, hypergranulosis, and reticular degeneration in the upper epidermis. Generalised epidermolytic hyperkeratosis is present in bullous congenital ichthyosiform erythroderma. Localised epidermolytic hyperkeratosis may be found in epidermal nevi and benign keratoses.

Synonym: porcupine skin.
