obstetrical binder

A supporting garment covering the abdomen from the ribs to the trochanters, tightly pinned at the back, affording support after childbirth or, rarely, during childbirth.

T-binder, two strips of cloth at right angles; used for retaining dressing, as on the perineum.

Synonym: t-bandage.
