Meissner's plexus --> submucosal plexus

A gangliated plexus of unmyelinated nerve fibres, derived chiefly from the superior mesenteric plexus, ramifying in the intestinal submucosa.

Synonym: plexus submucosus, meissner's plexus, remak's plexus.
