Inlet of larynx

The aperture between the pharynx and larynx, bounded by the superior edges of the epiglottis (anteriorly), the aryepiglottic folds (laterally), and the mucosa between the arytenoids (posteriorly).

Synonym: aditus laryngis, laryngeal aperture.
