Foxglove

The foxglove is recognised as highly toxic due to the presence of cardiac glycosides (same active chemical in digoxin). It has been stated that 2-3 dried leaves is a toxic dose.

symptoms of digitalis poisoning include dizziness and vomiting (early signs), followed by cardiac arrhythmias (palpitations, fainting), disturbances in vision, delirium or hallucinations.
