anaesthetic leprosy
a form of leprosy chiefly affecting the nerves, marked by hyperesthesia succeeded by anaesthesia, and by paralysis, ulceration, and various trophic disturbances, terminating in gangrene and mutilation.
Synonym: danielssens disease, danielssen-boeck disease, dry leprosy, trophoneurotic leprosy.
