Derm

1. (Science: suffix) a suffix or terminal formative, much used in anatomical terms, and signifying skin, integument, covering; as, blastoderm, ectoderm, etc. The integument of animal; the skin.

2. (Science: anatomy) see dermis.

Origin: gr. Derma, skin, fr. To skin, flay: cf. F. Derme.
