Corium ungulae --> pododerm

The corium of the foot; that portion of the skin which lies under the hoof and secretes the horny structure. The regions of the pododerm are the periople (corium limbi), coronary band (corium coronae), wall (corium parietis), and sole (corium solae).

Synonym: corium ungulae.
