A conceptual model wherein a disease or disorder is explained through biological, psychological, and social factors


Biological factors include faulty biological processes and compounds that lead to biological dysfunction and disease. Psychological factors are about the individual's emotions, behaviour, and mental processes. Social factors include social statuses and relations. These factors are all considered in an attempt to understand the underlying factors of a disease.
