Beta-d-glucuronidase

(Science: enzyme) An enzyme catalyzing the hydrolysis of various beta-d-glucuronides, liberating free d-glucuronic acid and an alcohol; a deficiency of this enzyme is associated with sly syndrome.

Synonym: glusulase, glycuronidase.
