Amino Acids

Post by mistique » Mon Feb 26, 2007 11:36 am

Hey everyone out there.

Does anyone know what the answer to this question could possibly be:

"Amino acids have the same basic structure yet they are all different. Explain which part of their structure confers this."

It would be very helpful if someone could help me with this question as i have a SAC coming up soon..
Thanks :)

This is a very basice question one you should be able to find and read on the net or a text book. But quickly its the "R" groups which confers the a.a with their differences.

You know dog spelled backwards is god.
Coincidence? I think not. . .
