Differences between structures of molecules

Hey everyone out there.

Does anyone know what the answer to this question could possibly be:

"What are the two differences between the general structures of fat and phospholipid molecules and the steroid molecules (cholesterol, testosterone and oestrogen in this case)."

It would be very helpful if someone could help me with this question as i have a SAC coming up soon..

I know that fats have a glycerol 'head' and then 'chains' of fatty acids coming down from them. Like a glycerol with 3 fatty acid chains coming down is a triglyceride. Phospholipids are similar to fats but have a phosphorus and have only two fatty acids instead of three. Steroids on the other hand have their carbon skeleton bent to form four fused rings (3 six sided and 1 five sided). Is that what you are looking for or are you looking for more of the elements that make them up?

Please keep in mind that I am not a Biology major...so this is just my best guess of what you might be looking for (I'm a social work major). My cellular biology class has me a little bewildered as I haven't had biology since high school 20 years ago. So, I'm just interpreting from my book.

Fat consists of only glycerol and at least one fatty acids bonded to the glycerol by ester bond. phospholipid molecules consists of a glycerol, a phosphate group and only two fatty acids are bonded to the gycerol by ester bonds.steriod is consist of four 6-carbon rings and one 5-carbon rings. The second the arrangement of components consists in the particular molecules......you can find it in the books.
