I think that God is amazing and that science cannot give an answer to everything but wasnt it hormones or something that sends messages to the brain and sensors (5 senses) which help to tell what the brain needs to do well that was what we leant at GCSE. but i dunno if it is right
because you lot are all the scientists and doctors wheras i'm the likkle A level student

Umm not quite. Hormones are released by glands throughout the body. These hormones are sent to different areas with "instructions".
And the five senses are just different nerves that send messages to the brain, telling the body what to "feel".

M dear Blabjubajoo,
Yes, God is wonderful, He gave us the brain to think and the five senses to respond to the stimuli in and out of our bodies and even the chance to jurge ourselves. So, do please check your A-level text books about body contol systems, you would find alot of interesting things, one of which is the co-operative approach of different body cells, tissues, organs and even systems, all inorder to return a lost homeostatic balance. You would also come accross the role of the central and peripheral nervous systems in the above nentioned dynamic process. Good luck.

I hope to share
If we want to differentiate between two guys :-
#a waked man thinking
#a sleep man thinking-dreaming-
embriologically : when the fetus got his organs, his whole central nervous system ....etc why didnt his heart start beating his movement so depends on some thing so vague some embriologist explaint this is the soul "spirit"God gives it to the fetus
Another thing :when we r asleep why we cant stand normally when immediately awakened?
I really loved to hear you opinion in that sayings

In my own opinion,i think human looks like cell, have chromosome to control it. Try to think n figure, family member attitude is similar with u or not? is same rite..means our brain is control by gene..our movement n emotion..gene is more important to control all activiti in body..n movement..so Panic disorder(psychology disease) can affect heart attack, sweating, numbness, and etc
Conclusion, means the mind will affect body health

an experment was once done in context to there being a "soul", the church was approached adn asked " do animals have souls?" some answered yes.
then what happens in the case of worms, cut one in half and they grow into two seperate worms?
do both have a soul?
how does the sould get there?
