I still can't get the RSS to work. lol. NEWS BREAK. Mating lions and tigers has been illegal for over five years. Did not know that.

I didn't know that either. I thought they only first interbred lions and tigers about 2 years ago. Shows how out of date I am.

ligers and tigons are the most rarest and most beautiful creation that has been made :D !!!! me im crazzy bout tigers and later in life i hope to save them from beening poached in the wild !!1 im sick of hearin bout ane big cats being killed and hunted for there body parts :x how would the people feel it was done to them!!!!! and i think all poaches should be hunted down because how can they kill such a beautiful animal i wiill never know!!!! does aneone agree with me?

ah so Canalon strikes again. LOl, Jking. But on a serious note a tiger heart goes on the black market for 7-12 thousand for half a hear. It's used in chinses medicine and I saw it down in chinatown NYC.

I know ligers and tigons can reproduce, but are their offspring fertile?

they probably can reproduce but mating them is illegal and an addition the death rate is very high so "owners" tend to lose a lot of money when making tigons and ligers and even more so for li-ligers. So it doesn't make too much sense to mate them.
