How kangaroo rat maintain its body temperature without drink water on eat dried plant??....

n explain the wat is occuring inside kangaroo rat's kidney? why their urine hv high concentrate?

It mainteine by water produthed by the methabolical way - at the mitochondria.

Kangaroo rats burrow underground during the day, and they search for food at night when it is much cooler in the desert. Also they may also have other behaviours such as licking their paws to cool down - the way we sweat to keep cool.

oh, yes, the kangaroo rat(Dyplodomis sp) is a very interesting animal. It eats mostly dry fruit and generally does not drink water. It has certain physiological adapatations: it relies mostly on metabolic water(produced by cellular respiration), has kidneys with extremely long loops of Henle so it can produce an extremely concentrated urine and, something i find really interesting: this animal has lost it's sweat glands.
