Gamma Radiation

Post by Miss_Me » Fri Jan 05, 2007 6:52 pm

Hi.

Does anyone know of any books or websites where i can find some detailed information of Gamma radiation.
Books/websites on Gamma Radiation and its resulting effects of mutations would also be helpful.

I've tried looking through some books i have and have been on a few websites, but the information is either brief or the radiation spoken about in detail is X rays and its effects.

Thanks!

Recently I got that gamma radiation thing after applying radioimmunoassay technique. So far I applied three experiments, so I got three times radiation. Well...

Hi Miss me,
Today I came across your question on the internet. I don't know whether it has been sufficiently answered yet, but in case you would have any questions left I am more then happy to answer them.

I work at a company that is specialised in industrial gamma irradiation called Isotron. You can find info's under our .com web site or e-mail at mareen.bartels and then add isotron.com.

(sorry for writing it this way but I am trying to avoid to much spam coming my way.)

kind regards, Mareen Bartels

good for you that gamma radiation has a low capacity for ionisation :) Didn't got above the maximum radiation dosage equivalents ?
