substances which store solar energy

which part(s) of the plant store(s) solar energy? (I know chlorophyll absorbs it and turns it into chemical energy......) :?

chorophyll has Mg as constituent and on absorption of light enrgy Mg get excited and release one electron.... later it cycles through cytochrome system to form ATP..(Chemical Energy).

In a nutshell, glucose is the "storage" molecule that plants produce with the energy gained from the sun.
