for poison and others, the the taste of placenta depends upon how is it prepared and its source.
I'm surpriced to know that you don't eat placenta.

1.the organ in mammals aned other viviparous animals....
2.A ridge of tissue on the ovary wall of flowering plants to which the ovules are attached...(oxford dictionary)

Placenta in plants! That's rich... Anyway the discussion was about animals.. But it's good to know of it's existance
