Pill Food

Post by Condraz23 » Fri Dec 15, 2006 11:24 am

What are the technological barriers which prevent synthetic "pill food" from becoming widely available? Is it due to the weight of the required nutrients? I've heard that you would need to swallow about 500 pills in order to meet daily nutrition requirements.

How about the synthetic "food in a tube" concept that they use in the space programme? How long can they thereotically sustain a human being?

Today we havent met till that point, we need lot of raw material to get feeded. If you extract exactly the things which are needed by body then of course it would make it. Liquid food is good idea. :o

But we people do not eat for just survivle, we have faith in it. We like delicacies :P . So I wont prefe pill or liquid food. :(

But, think can you tolrate hunger if I give U a pill saying that this is composed of enough nutrition equal to your lunch????? :?

Fiber....you need lots of it. Plus the processing costs would be prohibitive.
