DNA to RNA
I need to construct a strand of mRNA using the left side of a DNA molecule. The DNA molecule is ACGGTAATGCTC. I think the mRNA strand should be UGCCAUUACGAG. Is this correct?

What do you mean by "left side"?

I have made a model of a DNA molecule using paper and showing each nucleotide as a rung in a ladder with the sides of the ladder consisting of sugars hooked together with phosphoric acid. I took one side, which happens to be the left side, of the model to use as the model for making a mRNA strand, also out of paper with sugars depicted as octagons and phosphoric acid tabs.
