bioluminescence

Post by widget » Fri Oct 27, 2006 4:25 pm

Currently i am studying transport and product design at coventry university, at the moment i am participating in a lighting competition. The theme of which is bioluminescence. So far I have e-mailed many people asking for help and so far no replies. So i am hoping that you may be able to help. I need to find a way of sustaining a light source using a bioluminescent source. If you could assist me in this design project, by
providing information or a push in the right direction, it would help me
immensely. So far i have looked in to using bacteria and dinoflagellates to
produce light, however i need specific information as to wether it would work. So if you could supply any information on sustaining a light source or any help it would be greatfully received.
Many Thanks
W

Nooo wikipedia!! its not a completely reliable source yet could be an ok starting point. Its information is by people submitting to it.

Have you tried journals?? there are sooo many im sure your university has subscriptions to online databases that have access to different journals?
