Blood Typing

Post by zmike » Wed Oct 25, 2006 9:41 pm

I just have one question which I am finding trouble answering.

Three agglutinogens are looking for: A,B, and Rh. Every individual is typed doubly (for AB and Rh). Determine the 8 different genotypes.

Thanks for your help

I may be thinking wrong, I woke up about 15 mins. ago, but there are 8 fenotypes not genotypes.
I mean A group can be AA or AO. Same for B.
and Rh+ can be (+)(+) or (+)(-). When you think like that you can get 18 genotypes.
Like:
For A group:
AA (+)(+), AO (+)(+)
AA (+)(-), AO (+)(-)
AA (-) (-), AO (-) (-)
and so on.
