Structure of Chromosomes

Post by JuwaD » Mon Oct 23, 2006 10:24 pm

How is the structure of chromosomes in eukaryotes different from the structure of chromosomes in prokaryotes?

This is an easy homework question you'll probably find in your textbook. In any case, 'Biochemistry' by Berg et al discuss this in detail.

Lehninger... Just my idea of course. :)

depends on the person i guess. and what you're looking for. Streyer&Berg is a akwardly written and not for noobs like me. if you already have some knowledge of biochemstry, both are fine. Voet&Voet i've heard is also a good book, however i don't have it and never read any part of it
