I'm so glad I found this site. I have a test today as always. Can you tell me the functions of a cell.

Cells have thousands of functions... There is no good answer to such a question. But you will find the beginning of it here

Actually The function of a cell would be that of helping sustain life it self..
like I learnt in my younger days- Cells are the buildind blocks of life!
Different kind of cells have different types of functions-
eg: lymphatic cells help in defending the body against microbes, The outer layer of dead cells in our body helps protect the underlying dermal layers,gonad cells help in reproduction and so on!
