Can someone help me! What is the genome project and what do they do in it? Any helpful websites anyone can tell me?

Ouch. No the genome is the complete set of genes of an organism, not the organism itself. Microscope is kind of useless to determine the genome of an organism.

A genome is a collection or the whole set of genes in an organism!
Well the basic purpose of the human Genome project is to identify all the Genes in the human genome - About 20-30 thousand of them!
