polyclonal antibodies

hai everybody
i believe u guys can help me with my quest.
Is it possible to obtain polyclonal antibodies for a plant virus by injecting it into a lab animal?

antibodies are raised by a vertebrate for every foreign antigen. A plant virus is not an own antigen that is presented during lymphocyte selection so polyclonal antibodies are raised.
