Remember the Hershey and Chase "the blender experiment"?

If I want need to design an additional experiment to further verify that DNA is the genetic material of the virus, where should I start?

Any ideas?

Hmm, i thought theirs was a good one, proving that DNA (and not protein) is the genetic material of the virus, but hmm - not too sure if there'll be other experiments we can design :(

(Sorry, my lack of knowledge.. :()

Not of the virus, but Avery, McCarty and Macleod confirmed that DNA was the genetic carrier of bacteria by adding DNAase to suspensions of bacteria and observing that no transformation takes place under those conditions.
