you mean the tissue that we throw off when we eat banana's fruit????-the green or the yellow one???-
somehow i eat it...in some menu...
in indonesia... we us little of it as one of ingredient of our food. called rujak. hmm... just very little piece!!!
but,i'm not too interested on eating it normally, not as ingredient for rujak(hmm...it has been soo long after the last time i eat it. pretty delicious).
for now i can not recomended you to eat it normally.
but...it all your judge to eat it or not.
i'm not recomended it.
hehe...[sorry if you'r not satisfied only by this info.]

yes. because it is very small piece of banana...(banana skin...and do you know that what you eat from banana is no other than its eksoderm???)
the piece already being mixed up, and already become the part of the ingredient "cream".
just say.. 2-3 mg of it for 1 posion...
maybe as little as it...perhaps.. hm.. maybe 1.75 mg.
hm.. oh what ever it is only little piece.. do not it?

Hey there!

I sat-in on a nutrition class this morning and the Professor talked about phytonutrients very briefly. These are non-sessential 'nutrients' that are found in the skin of fruit (and veggies?) and they may serve some kind of protective function for the plant. And they're good for us when we eat them.

I don't know if it's true or the same for banana peels? But possibly? (she didn't use that as an example?)

check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phytonutrients

and http://www.glyconutrientsreference.com/ ... rients.php
