dermatology anatomy

Post by michael hume » Thu Sep 14, 2006 3:07 pm

I am hoping a biologist or human anatomy specialist sees this. Only they could answer this. Is there a term for the sensitive skin that is in the area near genital area and anal area. ?

My reason for the question has to do with a legal matter.

Clearly the skin there is different than the skin on the rest of the body. It is less resilient and more senstitive.

Thank you.

I believe it is the perineum.
