How many SYBR-Green molecules intercalate in DNA?

Post by silin » Fri Sep 01, 2006 5:57 am

If I have a DNA with a known number of base pair is it possible to estimate how many SYBR-Green molecules can intercalate in it? I don't know much about chemistry, but probably it can be determined from the structure of the dye molecule? By the way, does anyone know where to find more information on SYBR-Green at all? There are very few publications about it so far.
