Name of gene amplified in PCR

Would any one know the general name given to the gene amplifeied during PCR?
The PCR has got to do with Flower DNA and gel electrophoresis.

I have a question for one of my assesments and it is:
What is the general name given to the gene amplified during this PCR?
I don't understand what is meant by it. Is is genetic mapping, transgene i really don't know.
