My eyes are strange. One is mostly blue and green but it has little rays of brown in it, and the other is half blue half green without brown. I think it is interesting because my dad has Blue, my mom has Green, and my sister, grandpa, and most of my family have brown. But my eyes are so light no one notices and I can't take pictures either. I guess it's unique.

Hello everybody,

Thank you for your suggestion, There are two types of color contacts - enhancement color contacts and opaque color lenses. Enhancers usually come in different shades of blue, green and gray and are designed to make your natural eye color look brighter.

Nice to meet you

I have two different colorerd eyes too-one is green and one is a yellowish gold. The doctor said it was a hazel until it lightened from a genetic mutation my family apparently has. Most people have two different colored eyes because both of your parents carried different dominant/recessive traits. This caused an incomplete dominance, where the 2 genes are only partially expressed.

Hi my name is Alexandria and i have two different colored eyes. One is green and one is blue. Sometimes i wish i just had blue eyes because they're pretty and amazing. Plus, people say thats prettier. I'm a model. Sometimes its really hard work. Anyway, i have two different color eyes!! yay!!

I have the same thing one eye is green and the other is blue.
To be honest i love it - its unique and people tend to think its really awesome.
I do get annoyed when people ask you "Hay do you realise your eyes are different colours?" as if i had never noticed before. i intend to do further research on this to find out more.

[quote="Darby"]"The most common reason for different color eyes is mosaicism (the "old" one, not the new one associated with chimeras),...."

I find the explanation of human chimeras quite fascinating as it infers that "nature" makes it possible for two men to be the father of one child.

My eyes are half blue and half brown and have been that way since i was a baby. People say how great they are but they dont know what its like to have them. My eyes get sensitive to sunlight and water. Ive had some strange and stupid things said to me. 'hey do you know you have two different colors in your eyes'. I go through stages of wearing sunglasses ,strangers think they have a license to just start talking to you becouse you have a conversation ice breaker. So, although its crazy, beautiful, way out man! Out ta sight! Far out! Or **** thats weird i sometimes feel such an od ball i just want to be one of the crowed
