info for you
bed bug bites are painless ands o does not usualy wake you up.
the bites form them can produce large, itchy welts on the skin.
that looks like the welts you have.

they should go a way. try white vinegar for the itch.

and I said they can transmit disease, but I guess that is rare.

The bed bugs can live for months w/o food or water. you should throw the mattress out and get a new one. dont spray it with pesticides that is very unhealthy.
