Seed Germination.

Would microwaves cause seeds(birdseed) to not germinate? As a method to prevent unwanted sprouting. :?:

well i guess it might cause them not to germinate cause it will kill the embryo. It depends on the dose. But if you really want to keep them from germinating, you can keep them in a cold dry place and they should be fine.

Then I'll put them inside a tube filled with liquid nitrogen..:lol:

Kinda expensive... And that would also kill the embryo probably...
