Marijuana Effects On The Brain

Post by Silverbackman » Tue May 23, 2006 3:41 pm

What are some of the effects on the brain? A long time ago I took it a couple of times and felt some pain in the frontal part of my brain. Does it damage or do better to the frontal lobes or so of your brain? And compared to alcohol, which drug damages the brain more. Does marijuana really damage the brain? Or does it make it better?

even i had not read the book, but i saw the new in TV.. kind of movie.

it said that the neurotransmiter's activities...(includes the production and the way it get on the targeted area) will distrubted. the compounds in marijuana will get on the surface where the neurotransmiter will land off.. so that the signal/the normal condition will dstrubted..
and also too much marijuana can make people addicted. yes, i will say that is one of the effect of using marijuana.

so. keep a way from marijuana. dangerous. :D

No one has any solid scientific data about the lasting effects marijuana has on the brain. Marijuana has been reported as having a theraputic effect on people with serious physical and mental illness. Check this link out:

As to your second question, well thats a no brainer; forgive the pun.
With long-term use alcohol may damage the connection between nerve cells and cause irreversible brain damage, including memory loss and personality changes.
