What is the source of ATP for the active process? i have answered hydrolysis but am unsure? can any one help?

google or search our forum for "cellular respiration", "glycolisys" or "oxidative phosphorilation". That is how the ATP is made.
If you are looking for it is used:
-you are right:direct hydrolysis in primary active transport
-another way in secondary active transport(reasearch it).
