cockroaches... Nuclear war... Hmmm...

Post by i_r_e_d » Wed May 17, 2006 3:19 am

I heard that a cockroach would survive a nuclear war... If this information is true, then what would happen if a cockroach was put in the microwave? Would it survive? blow up? cook? I didn't want to try cause its cruel and it could end up messy with my parents new microwave... But is there any ideas?

That would be so totally fun to find out . . .
Generally speaking, the more people talk about "being saved," the further away they actually are from true salvation.

I'm really not sure, but I believe the theory behind this suggests they would survive the radiation and not the actual blast. Thus putting one in the microwave would almost certainly cause it to cook.

May be true but I know that Denococcus radiodurans is a bacteria that can survirve 4000 gamma radiations.

Yeah, it would cook. They are good with ketchup.
