May I ask...how can just one left handed parent (male) have two left handed girls and one left handed boy and one right handed boy?? :?

I don't think this is something genetic. It is just you got used to use that hand.

yer but it is still slightly genetic isnt it? Is it an autosomal recessive mode of inheritance?

well it is known that left handedness is a recessive gene and so if your parents are both right handed for one of their children to be left handed the parents must be heterozygous right handers. Therefore crossing two heterozygous right handers (Rr) will give either RR- homozygous right handed, Rr - heterozygous right handed (because right handedness is dominant) another Rr, or rr which will give a left handed person. Environmental factors do come into it but i reckon it would mainly be genetic?

No it is not. Left-handed or right-handed is something far more complex than one-gene character. The reason? You can change your child's dominant hand if you make him do everything with his non-dominant hand when he is a child. i have a friend whose parents did this.
