American Alligator

Post by noob » Thu Apr 27, 2006 1:31 am

ok so in class we are doing some research on the American Alligator.
I have a question that just doesnt make sense at all to me. Any suggestions to what it means would be a great deal of help.

what type of environmental condiditions would lead a biologist to consider studying the rate of growth for the alligator through the use of artificial specimens?
