Why must all amphibians spend at least a part of their lives in the water :?:

You should find the answer in the chapter treating of amphibian reproduction in any tetxtbook.

Found It! Amphibians need to spend their time in the water because their skin is very thin and needs to stay moist in order for them not to dry out. Also their skin absorbs oxygen from the water. Amphibians also lay their eggs in the water because they are jelly like and need to be in a damp place.
