Can ne1 explain 2 me the major advantages and disadvantages of an anthropod's exoskeleton? Thanx in advance.

Some Advantages: Limited water loss or gain, protects guts, allows for some colonization of land (insects)
Disads: has to molt to grow, thus leaving the animal vulnerable for a time, Limited growth, heavier covering (which could also be an advantage).
That is off the top of the head here.

Molting could also be an advantage because if it gets damaged you can repair it in time.
