Garden worms with shiny blue skin

Post by AquaGuy » Sun Jul 01, 2018 1:00 pm

So...It looks like their entire bodies are shining blue, even in the shade, although the sun makes it look brighter. What could be the cause of it. They're just common red-y coloured garden worms.

I've done a google search and no one seems to know anything about it, I see no mention of it anywhere.

I know that some animals, and some plants, have patterns on them that only the animals that see in the UV spectrum can see them (like bees), and I know that scientists have recently discovered that humans can actually see the UV light in the right conditions...
Is it just my eyes or have are all garden worms that colour and everyone can see the colour?

Thanks. Peace.
